As I go about starting back again on Whalesinger, two things come. One-someone took the title of my blog for a book.  Not sure how to feel. This blog has been here since 2010.
It is not the same sort of story, in part. Seen bad reviews. Leaving it for now. Just ticked a bit.

Two- I am not going to spend a lot of time on my other blog.  So will be on & off working here.

I am looking into our future, trying to imagine that time in which the powers that be deliberately ignored all the signs of global warming. Till too late. Then tried to manipulate the atmosphere using
A power EMF beam to control the weather.

And instead kill 80% of the people on Earth.  And change the DNA of many of the survivors.

Earth goes into a re-set. Humanity struggles to reclaim a vestige of the society that once was.

But some of their ancestors are different. Life and society is struggling with the change.

The characters are traveling towards discovery of the past  and the future of humans.

Rosemma takes Zing under her wing

Tea was over.  Jack Chang was off running down more news of boats and fishermen,

Leslie had reluctantly gone back into the kitchen. Zing was like a lost child, Her face tense,
shyly mumbling she should get going home.

Charles gave Rosemma a look, she reached in Zing's direction across the table.

"Hey, Zing! Maybe you could take us around the neighborhood for a few blocks, do you mind?"

"We both are really not city people, this is my first city. I would appreciate it if you would be our guide."  She smiled at Zing.  Looking sideways at Charles.

Charles smiled. He liked the idea too.  So good.

Let's get out and stretch our legs, hmmm. I want to leash up the dogs and take them too.

Zing was happy and offered to walk one of them.  Grandmother stepped back out of the kitchen,
A look on her face of mild disapproval.

Charles spoke softly," Ms. Maggie, would you like to come on a tour of the neighborhood too?"

She surprised him with a nod. " Yes, just so not to lose you all, and it should be interesting. Right now, I can use a change
